Hello everyone, this is Hassaan, but yet adorable, YouTube expert, Derral Eves. Ok you thought it was going to be really easy to delete your YouTube channel.

Go to YouTube studio.

But with all the recent changes to YouTube. YouTube's moved everything around. Not to speak of the Google+ Integration, this can be really confusing and really frustrating.

Now here's the thing, there's actually different ways to delete your YouTube channel based on the factors that you set up your account. So if it's a stand alone account you do it one way. If it ties to a Google+ Profile you do it another way. If it's tied to a Google+ Page you do it another way.

Rest assured I will take away all the pain and in this article. I'm going to show you three different ways to delete your YouTube channel forever. Let's take a look! Ok, the first one that I'm going to show you us actually a YouTube channel that doesn't connect to Google+.

Now to see if it doesn't connect to Google+ there's two ways to do it. You click on the upper right-hand corner and you won't see any Google+ settings.

And to delete this account what we need to do is click on settings here. Once we come to this portion of it you're going to see your account information and so on and so forth.

And there's going to be a little Advanced link right here so let's go ahead and click that. Or you can go to YouTube.com/account_advanced and you're going to see this Delete Channel button right here.

All you need to do is go ahead and click Delete Channel and basically. It's going to make you re-login, go ahead and put the password in it.

It's going to say hey, are you really sure you want to delete this YouTube account. Because it's not coming back, let's go ahead and click the delete button down here. And that channel is now gone.

Now, if you do not see a delete button, don't freak-out. I'll show you another way how to do this. Alright, so now what I'm going to do is actually show you how to delete a YouTube channel. That attaches to a Google+ Profile.

So to do this let's go ahead and click at the top and some of you are actually going to see it like This. I'm going to show you that it actually connects to a profile and I'll show you another way that most of you will actually see it. So let's go ahead and click on Settings again.

And notice here that is says Edit on Google+. If it says that even if you clicked on Advanced there's not going to be a delete button here. You actually connect to a Google+ Profile,so all you need to do is click on Edit on Google+.

And basically what it's going to do is take you to Google+. We'll go ahead and not want to go on a tour, this means that you haven't actually set up the full profile. But YouTube's actually made that for you.

Let's go ahead and click off on and head back to YouTube. Now that we're back to YouTube what we're going to do is click here at the top. Now you're able to see that there's Google information, there's links along with your YouTube information.

So the first thing that we need to do is to make sure that there's only one YouTube channel that actually connects to this. Because if you delete it. It's going to delete everything.

And so we come over here to switch account. Click on this and you're able to see that there's only one channel that associates with YouTube. If you see multiple channels that are here it's actually going to show up and you'll see multiple channels.

So let's go ahead, delete that channel that's connected to your Google+ Profile. To do this we come over to settings and what you want to do is come all the way down to the bottom and you're going to see Disable Google+. Delete your entire Google+ Profile, let's go ahead and click here.

Now by doing this you've got to read through all the information. It's going to delete all your associations, all your subscribers, all the people that are in your circle. But we're good with that since this is just a test account. And what we're going to do is click Remove Selected services.

Now keep in mind when you delete all this stuff it still keeps your gmail account and you have a Google account. But it just doesn't associate with Google+ and Google+ Pages,YouTube and so on. So let's go ahead and hit Remove Services. Ok you successfully delete that YouTube channel that connects to that Google+ Profile.

 

However your gmail account doesn't delete.

Ok the final way is actually Delete a YouTube channel. That's connected to a Google+ Page. Now to do this click here at the top, come down to Switch Account. So we need to switch to the account that we're actually going to delete. Let's go ahead and click this. And then once we login as that user, or that specific YouTube channel. We need to come down to YouTube Settings.

And once we're here we'll come and click on Advanced and hit Delete. And it's going to ask you to login again, so we'll put in the password. And it's going to say hey are you sure you want to delete this? We're going to hit yes and now that YouTube channel is now gone.

Ok now you want to be really careful when you actually delete your YouTube channel.
